Our Philosophy
Ahead In Class exists to help students study more effectively, not to help them avoid studying. Every guide, method, and resource we publish is designed to deepen understanding, not replace it. We believe the goal of education is learning — and shortcuts that skip the learning defeat the purpose.
How We Expect Our Content to Be Used
Our articles, study guides, and recommended tools are meant to supplement your coursework, not substitute for it. Specifically:
- Study guides should be used alongside your textbook and lecture notes — not instead of attending class.
- Practice problems and solutions are for checking your own work after you've attempted it independently.
- Note-taking methods and productivity tips are meant to help you engage more deeply with material, not copy someone else's notes.
- External tools we link to (like SolveMyBook) should be used as learning aids to understand steps, not to submit answers as your own.
What We Don't Support
We do not condone or support:
- Submitting AI-generated or third-party content as your own work
- Using study tools to complete graded assignments without doing the work yourself
- Sharing exam content, test banks, or copyrighted course materials
- Any form of plagiarism or contract cheating
Your Responsibility
Every institution has its own academic integrity policy. It's your responsibility to understand and follow your school's rules. When in doubt, ask your professor — not the internet.
